Community Guidelines

LampLit is for friends who want to see each other in person.

Be the kind of friend people want at their door.

Be kind

• No harassing, bullying or threatening anyone.
• No attacks on anyone for who they are: race, religion, sex, gender, sexuality or disability.
• “Not right now” is always a fine answer. Take it gracefully, and give it freely.

Be yourself

• Use your own name and your own number.
• Don’t pretend to be another person, a brand or LampLit.
• One account per person. No fake accounts, bots or scripts.

Keep it safe

• Nothing illegal. No drug sales, no trafficking, no planning harm.
• Nothing sexual involving anyone under 18, ever. See the child safety standards.
• Registered sex offenders can’t use LampLit.

Keep it private

• A friend’s address and number are for visiting and reaching that friend. Nothing else.
• Don’t share anyone’s private details, photos or address without their OK.
• No spam, no scams, no selling.

When someone breaks these

Open their sheet and tap Report, or Block. They are never told who reported them.

LampLit can hide a note, suspend an account or ban a number.
